This is a lovely WWI Memorial Plaque commemorating the life and service of George Hough, a British soldier who went missing on May 27th, 1918, and was never found, having died in combat while serving with Company D, 5th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. This example has a hole at the top for mounting. As there were so many men who were KIA during World War I, we cant be 100% sure we have IDd the correct man, so this
