Soulful 18/19th C Carved Santos / Mannequin Bust with Glass Eyes and Polychrome glass bottle;e 8 7/16" x 6 1/2"Late 18th early 19th century continental European would be my guess with this saintly, very soulful beauty, once part of a whole carved wooden figure. Clearly with some loss around one glass blue eye, and it looks likely like some old repair repainting around the other, which to me makes her look all the more soulful and expressive, as if the patron saint for women who have endured despite the odds stacked against them. (and I find the exposed wood on
