One end of the wooden handle has broken off near the tip such that it does not extend all of the way down the side of the basket--not very noticeable

The backside is pretty fabulous too, showing what looks like mimeographed paper from a local newsletter of some sort, with the hand drawn illustrations and typed text looking 1940s or so to me.
