Whole Hog or None, Excellent Patriotic Civil War Cover model chair The inlays on the front

The inlays on the front are bone

I've never seen that incorporated into one of these before

8 1/2" l x 2 1/4" t x 2 1/8" w and in very good condition

and the preservation of the top and bottom of the spool on most

which is played like rummy

Whole Hog or None, Excellent Patriotic Civil War Cover model chair The inlays on the frontThere were a lot of interesting patriotic covers (envelopes) produced during the civil war era, but this my be my favorite I've seen and quite a concise and effective way of communicating the Union message, I'd say. Note the unusual configuration of the stars on the flag here, too. 5 1 2" x 3 1 16" and in excellent, unused condition.
