This is a United States Helicopter Flight Helmet type SPH 4 made by Gentex. The helmet is in overall excellent, complete condition with the liner, headset, tinted visor (broken, without nut) and boom microphone. This is a rare Vietnam era (1978) original helicopter helmet in wonderful complete condition! The Sound Protective Helmet 4 (SPH 4) is a derivative of the US Navy SPH 3 and was used by the US Army since 1970.
