This is a very nice WWII German Polizei (Police) NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with correct leather belt

Close inspection shows that the ports around the casing are carefully machined to direct the flow of the muzzle blast gasses

The underside is finished in an orange/brown hue with a checkered texture
