this is just a lovely object that feels great in the hand and that I think has many more good years in it yet

Who can argue with fluffy yellow chicks and lushly ripe red strawberries? I love the big green cabbage leaf serving as a basket for the berries, too and the red dripping from the greedy little beaks of these two! Great carved wooden frame too in mellow gold paint, I believe
