Sculptural Old Iron Log Splitting Cones - Sold Individually antique school slate painting but I have found noI find these old cast iron log splitting cones really beautiful objects, with sculptural forms evocative of towers and rockets and all sorts of things, and with surfaces that show a great combination of gold and rust. And, they are might heavy, so could be used as doorstops or bookends or whatever. The one at left in first photo was made by Oregon, with a patent pending stamp in the opposite side; the one at right shows Patent No 4887753. Left: 6 1 4"
