A round silver medal, the obverse depicting a rightward facing bust of Kaiser Karl I, circumscribed by his name and title; the reverse inscribed Fortitudini (Latin Bravery); on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, featuring a silvered metal Karl I designation; measuring 40. 25 mm in diameter; in overall near extremely fine condition.
